OUR INSPIRATION
Our name, Carbon Elements, reflects our belief that just as carbon is the fundamental building block of life, our products are designed to be fundamental to your adventures while out in the elements. Whether you're hitting the slopes, paddling on the lake, hiking, or simply enjoying a peaceful moment by the fire, we aim to provide reliable and sustainable gear that enhances every minute spent outdoors!
MEET THE FOUNDERS
Theo and Charissa first crossed paths in 2016 in Lloydminster, AB. Their instant connection deepened into love, and they married in 2019 near Kimberley, BC. Once married, it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly when the concept of Carbon Elements began, with the idea machine between them constantly running.
Theo, with his entrepreneurial mindset and Charissa, with her specialty in environmental sciences, wanted to create a brand that not only celebrates their passion for new experiences and the outdoors, but also prioritizes environmental stewardship.
In 2021, Theo and Charissa decided to make Kelowna, BC their home and made the leap in 2023, packing up all their belongings and their cherished pets for a new adventure. The culmination of their journey came in 2024 with the official launch of Carbon Elements. They are thrilled about the future and are eager to share their commitment to sustainability and adventure with you!
